You Do Not Need a Venue. You Need Somebody Who Can Sign the License.
You do not need a planner, a hundred chairs, or eighteen months. You need a license, somebody licensed to sign it, and somewhere beautiful to stand. We have two of those three, and the courthouse is two miles away.
Here is how it works. You book a cabin at Eureka Sunset the same way you would for any other stay, then you add the ceremony to it. Sarah is a registered Arkansas officiant, so she will marry you on six wooded acres, sign your license, and hand you the key to the cabin with the fireplace and the jetted tub where you spend your first night married. One booking, one person, and about fifty feet between the vows and your front door.
That is not a stripped-down wedding. For a lot of couples it is the wedding they actually wanted.
Add the Ceremony: $75
Sarah performs the ceremony and signs your license, added to your cabin stay. That is the whole thing. There is nobody else to coordinate with.
Add the Whole Thing: $175
The ceremony, the license signed, a custom eight-inch wedding cake, a vase of seasonal flowers, and two Eureka Sunset mugs so you have something to drink coffee out of on your first anniversary.
One hundred and seventy-five dollars, added to your cabin stay.
Getting Your Marriage License
Step by Step
Step 1: Go to the Carroll County Courthouse with a valid driver’s license. Any state is fine.
Step 2: Pay the $60 license fee by cash, check or card.
Step 3: Bring the license to a registered officiant.
Step 4: Say your vows.
Step 5: The officiant signs the license.
Step 6: Return the signed license to the courthouse. A copy is mailed to the address on your application.

Can our guests stay with us?
Yes. Each cabin and suite sleeps two, so guests book their own. With nine units on the property, a small group can stay together.
