9 Rocky's Retreat Cabin

The one cabin at Eureka Sunset you could comfortably live in for a week. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, king bed, a dual-headed shower big enough for two, and a large covered deck with a paddle fan and a BBQ grill.

Most cabin kitchens are a microwave and good intentions. This one is a real kitchen, so you can shop at Hart's a mile down the road and cook properly instead of eating out twice a day for five days straight. The washer and dryer mean you can pack for three days and stay for seven.

The deck is covered, which matters more than it sounds. Ozark weather turns fast, and a covered deck with a fan means you are outside in an August afternoon or an October drizzle either way.

Inside: king bed, jetted tub for two, a dual-headed shower big enough for two, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, natural gas fireplace lit October through May, fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV. Outside: covered back deck, paddle fan, BBQ grill.

One bed, two guests. Two-night minimum, and the cabin we suggest for a longer stay. Hart's Grocery is under a mile and delivers. Downtown is two miles, and we are trolley Stop 117 with passes at the front desk.
