The cozy one. A queen cabin with a fireplace you can see from the bed, its own private driveway, and a covered porch built for two.

There is a version of this trip that is all about space. This is the other version. Get'n Squirrelly is smaller and warmer on purpose: a queen bed close enough to the fire that you do not have to get up, a kitchenette for coffee and something easy, and a porch for the morning.

It is the easy yes for a first trip to the Ozarks, or a two-night escape that did not need to be complicated.

Inside: queen bed, jetted tub for two, a dual-headed shower big enough for two, natural gas fireplace lit October through May, kitchenette with a coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi and a smart TV.

One bed, two guests. Two-night minimum. Downtown Eureka Springs is two miles, the Black Bass Lake trailhead is half a mile, and we are trolley Stop 117 with passes at the front desk.
