Volkswagen lovers are rolling back into Eureka Springs this August for one of the city's most colorful and recognizable automotive traditions. The 34th Annual Eureka Springs Volkswagen Show takes place August 28–30, 2026, bringing VW enthusiasts together for three days of cars, conversation, cruising and fun in the Ozarks.

The Eureka Springs VW Show brings Volkswagen lovers together in one town for a weekend celebrating the cars and the community surrounding them. Better yet, profits from the event benefit a local Eureka Springs charity.

Whether you're bringing a Volkswagen of your own or simply love seeing classic Beetles, buses and other unique VWs around town, there is plenty happening throughout the weekend.

The weekend gets started Friday afternoon as Volkswagen owners arrive in Eureka Springs and registration opens from noon until 5 PM. Vendors can also begin setting up for the weekend.

At 6 PM, it's time to put the cars aside for a while and enjoy dinner. The Friday cookout features smoked pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips and water, giving everyone a chance to settle in and catch up with fellow VW enthusiasts.

The evening continues from 7–10 PM with a casual conversation and cocktail gathering—a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and talk about the reason everyone came to Eureka Springs in the first place: Volkswagens!

Saturday is the big show day and the perfect opportunity to see an impressive collection of Volkswagens gathered together in Eureka Springs.

Registration opens early at 7 AM, with judging beginning at 11 AM. Owners get a chance to show off the vehicles they've worked so hard to restore, customize and preserve, while spectators can enjoy seeing the variety of Volkswagens gathered for the weekend.

Then at 3 PM, it's parade time!

The Saturday VW parade is one of the highlights of the entire weekend as the cars leave the show and take to the streets of Eureka Springs. It is a great opportunity for visitors to find a spot along the route and watch a long line of distinctive Volkswagens make their way through town.

After the parade, everyone returns for the awards presentation at approximately 4:30 PM, celebrating some of the standout cars from this year's gathering.

• 7–10:30 AM: Registration for judged vehicles

Don't pack up and leave too early Sunday morning, because one of the most memorable parts of the Eureka Springs Volkswagen Show happens after the judging and awards are finished.

The annual Tourcade departs at 9:30 AM for a two-to-three-hour cruise through the beautiful Arkansas countryside. Instead of admiring the Volkswagens while they're parked, this is a chance to see them doing what they were built to do—hit the road.

The first stop is a visit with residents at Brighton Ridge Nursing Home, continuing a special tradition for the VW group and the local community.

From there, the Tourcade heads deeper into the Ozarks. The route includes a crossing of the old one-lane suspension bridge in Beaver, a lakeside break beneath the impressive structure locals know as the Castle, and a stop at Beaver Lake Dam.

Participants are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to share during the lakeside break. And according to the organizers, the Tourcade occasionally gets a little lost along the way—which sounds like part of the fun.

Sunday Tourcade Highlights

• 9:30 AM: Tourcade departure

• Two-to-three-hour drive through the Arkansas countryside

If you're bringing a Volkswagen to the show, pre-registration includes access to the weekend's events, a show pin, Friday night's cookout, the car show, Saturday's parade and Sunday's Tourcade.

Official event T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the show, including traditional shirts and tie-dye options. According to the organizers, shirts are available for purchase at the event only and are not sold online.
