Our Story

All the way from St. Louis, Missouri…meet the owner and your hostess..Sarah Eckert Martin.

In February of 2021 Sarah purchased Eureka Sunset and relocated here just before the massive snow and Arctic freeze of March 2021. Buying an inn and 10” of snow – both epic events.

Sarah is a Horticulturalist and Master Gardener and a “Jackie” of all the trades. David, the “Rocket Man” of Eureka Rocket is the office manager. Both Sarah and David have enthusiasm and love for Eureka Springs in general, the hospitality industry and Eureka Sunset specifically. Sarah has 3 adult children living in Portland, Oregon: Minneapolis, Minnesota and St. Louis, Missouri. Having a spot her family could all gather was a motivation for owning an Inn.

We like you, love the quirky cool Eureka Springs downtown as well as the beautiful countryside filled with forests, caves, lakes and springs. Biking trails, hiking, sailing, kayaking are all nearby. Peace and tranquility surround each luxurious cabin. We are proud to call this “Home” and hope that you will fee at home while your are staying with us.
